Residential Receiver Critical Reviews

You were very pumped up about this, but it all died regarding 1 moment after people installed it all. Will really need to return it in order to find something else. Works much better than my aged wired unit and does what it was designed to do. I’m very happy with this course. For the Ventstar cell thermostat to work, you should buy
at least one transmitter the other receiver,
so you are searching for $200 lowest.

I are generally using the Venstar thermostat for the purpose of over some months at this point.
This review is dependant my experience in the pass some months.
For by far the most part, the basic function runs.
I is going to be much happier if improvements are prepared in the next areas:
1) Your transmitter is usually too bulky. If your size can be reduced by 50%
it might look significantly better.
2) For that $200 system, I expects a more significant grade plastic casing.
The latest plastic casing is too cheap looking for my flavor.
3) This receiver some time missed this command sent from the
transmitter. It will eventually capture up, but the delay is annoying.
This seem to get worse if the I start using a ‘house code’ beyond zero.
(zero would be the default ‘house code’)
This may be a big issue for me. If the hyperlinks between the transmitter
and receiver is much more reliable, user experience will improve a whole lot.
4) It all lacks your support pertaining to ‘integrated air flow quality’ system.
If you have a air filter installed when using the furnace, you can’t
set up a different time schedule just for the supporter.
5) The user interface is known as a pain to help you program. This is especially because
transmitter has only 5 buttons on it. Each button may need to serve
multiple options. I such as the user interface belonging to the Luxpro
thermostat _much_ more desirable. (Luxpro doesn’t have a cellular model,
however) This concern can possibly be solved in case Venstar is
willing to feature more buttons.
